Managing parents in a community
You can communicate with the registered parents of your youth members and view their contact details
Create parents
Parents of youth users automatically show up in the member view for your community where parents have already linked their child accounts within Tangles.
You can also create member information for your youth members directly from a member’s page in the app or on the web. In the app, tap on the Add parent icon in the member view. In the web interface, click on the add parent action icon in the member view.
Automatic linking
If you add a member’s parent directly and the parent subsequently links their child themselves within the app, providing their details match then Tangles will map the parent’s Tangles account to the parent profile you created within your community. If there is not a match, a new parent member will appear for the child.
